Immaculate Conception’s Youth Faith Formation program is designed to guide youth, from kindergarten to high school, to understanding, reflection, discussion, and growth in their faith. Youth and their families gain knowledge of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church, as well as receive preparation as candidates for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
We are using a program called, A Family of Faith. It is designed to help develop strong Catholic families in which children learn the joys of following Jesus Christ and the truths of our Faith through the witness of Christian life given by their parents.
A Family of Faith provides both the parish catechist and the parent with an easy-to-use, turnkey solution to catechizing the whole family and helping parents lead their children to Christ and the Catholic Church.
Sacramental preparation prepares our children to complete the sacraments of initiation beyond Baptism, which prepare youth for the rest of their lives as Christians. The sacrament of Confirmation is offered for high school students to enrich them with the strength of the Holy Spirit and to spread and defend the faith by word and action as true witnesses of Christ.
